Images of Jim Corbett Waterfall
Corbett Waterfall: Corbett Waterfall is situated at an approximate distance of 25 kilometer from Ramnagar city can be accessed by road that is lined with thick tall trees and hints of wildlife species. This 66 ft. high waterfall is a sight to witness, especially on full-moon nights.
There seems to be no reason why this waterfall has been named as Jim Corbett waterfall but it is so near to his home in Choti Haldwani, it had to be named after him. Jim Corbett doesn’t seem to have had a good feeling about the then local administration after he left India, which is revealed from the correspondences in the Jim Corbett Museum nearby. That does not in any way prohibit us from using his name to promote tourism.
The waterfall is small but cute. It’s worth a visit, though the entry fees charged are exorbitant to say the least. The waterfall has been fenced thanks to a few drunken idiots who got drowned trying to act smart with nature. It does not offer much of a photo opportunity except the tourists trying to take pictures of the water fall falling into their outstretched palms. Visit it just for its serenity, and the one kilometer walk in jungle area.
Watch out for the monkeys, in fact they overshadow the main showpiece here.
